The Duck Race Committee is responsible for planning, organising, and running our club’s Annual Duck Race – the main fundraising event of the year. This much-loved community event is not only great fun for all ages, but it also provides the vital funds that enable our Rotary Club to support local projects, charities, and community initiatives.

What we do

• Plan and organise – coordinate every aspect of the Duck Race, including permits, sponsorships, ticket sales, safety arrangements, and event logistics.
• Promote and engage – work with local businesses, schools, and community groups to raise awareness and encourage participation.
• Run the event – manage the race day itself, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and successful event for the whole community.
• Fundraising impact – maximise revenue through ticket sales, attractions, and supporting activities, ensuring funds go directly to good causes.
• Explore new opportunities – in addition to the Duck Race, the committee also identifies and develops other fundraising ideas to strengthen the club’s support for the community.
