What a successful year!
Foodbank
Throughout the year we continue our monthly contribution to the Abergavenny Foodbank. Regrettably the demand placed upon the foodbank continues to grow.

Christmas Hampers
Again this year we have supported the Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau in providing the funding for over 60 Christmas Hampers for the elderly, vulnerable and needy in our community.

Our hope is to bring a little happiness and to remind people that they are not forgotten at this important time of the year.
Children in Need Bridge Collection
Each year we hold a collection at the Crickhowell Bridge asking everyone who passes to let us have a few coins from the pocket or purse. The generous folk of Crickhowell have again come up trumps and despite the move to a cashless society we were able to raise the sum of £1,525.00 for this very worthwhile charity.

Curry Evening
A first for us was the Curry Evening, held at the Red Indigo Indian Restaurant. A social occasion involving Club members, wives and friends and in so doing we raised £300 for our charity account which we will use to fund initiatives in the local community.

In fact, so enjoyable was the first such evening that we have subsequently held a further curry evening at the Red Indigo, raising a further £200 that this will become a regular feature of our social calendar. Why not join us for an evening of Great food, good company amongst like minded friends?
Bridge Drive
A social evening which raised £400.00 for our charity account
Crickhowell Christmas Market
We were very proud to assist the local business community arrange the annual Christmas Market, helping to plan and set up the event and provide ‘marshalling’ services for the event itself.
So popular is the event that it is now an established part of the town calendar!

VE Day Celebration
Again, the business community lead by Frank Ady organised a wonderful event commemorate VE Day and Crickhowell Rotary were delighted to participate in the event.

Remembrance Sunday
Every year at this time we support the local police by providing marshalling services to escort the parade to and from St. Edmunds Church and at the Cenotaph.
We consider this to be an honour and privilege as we remember those who gave their lives on our behalf.

Gilfest
We helped the Gilfest organisers erect a number of marquees and also had a stall at the event aimed at increasing awareness of our activities in the local communities
Race Night
What a fun evening! Held at Gilwern Community Hall. A great social event that raised £1,500!
Crickhowell District Archive Centre
Heavily involved in the planning and organisation of the 25th Anniversary celebration at The Clarence Hall.
Local Grants
During the course of the year we made a number of significant grants to local community organisations and to a limited number of individuals.
International
Our Rotary Club is deeply committed to serving our local community, while also recognising the importance of supporting global needs. In addition to our local projects, we have proudly contributed to international charities and disaster relief efforts. This global outreach complements our local work, reflecting our values of compassion, service, and lasting impact both at home and around the world.
