Crickhowell Rotary Club does so much work, often unseen, in the community and further afield. But we cannot do this all on our own and new members and volunteers are always needed to assure our future.

You can help in many ways, some you may not even be aware of. But in the first instance, why not read a bit more about the Club and see if your skills could be put to good use helping others.

Annual Duck Race and Craft Fair

August Bank Holiday Saturday 29 August 2026

Gates open 11.00, Duck Race at 14.00

The Annual Duck Race returns at the end of August at the usual location, Bullpit Meadow Crickhowell, with the pedestrian entrance by the bridge. Plenty of free parking (follow the directions to the Llangattock side a short walk away).

Our popular fundraiser is bigger and better than ever with a craft fair, BBQ, licensed bar, skittle alley, bottle stalls and more – plus a return visit with live music from our favourite blues and rock band, Mid Loaf Crisis.

Tickets are just £5 per duck and are widely available in the local area - and look out for ticket sellers dressed as ducks wandering around Crickhowell too!

Why not join us?

Crickhowell Rotary Club members meet in The Bear Hotel, Crickhowell every Thursday evening at 7.00pm, except during August when the club is in recess.

However, in the modern world we recognise that members may have other commitments be it, work, family or involvement with other organisations which might limit attendance at club meetings, so these are not hard and fast rules about joining or getting involved in the club. We welcome anyone with an interest in making a difference in the community and bringing their skills to our group.
